Ed Napier has practiced law in Douglas County since November 2006 — 19+ years defending clients in the same courthouse, in front of the same judges, against the same prosecutors' office. From West Point to the Douglas County courthouse.
Before law school, Ed graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Systems Engineering, and served as a veteran of the U.S. Army. He later earned an MBA from The Ohio State University before going to law school at Georgia State University, graduating in 2006 and beginning to practice in Douglas County that same year.
In 2016, Ed completed the Trial Lawyers College at Thunderhead Ranch in Wyoming — the intensive trial-advocacy program founded by Gerry Spence, built around psychodramatic and experiential techniques for connecting with juries rather than relying on courtroom formulas.
